I bought this mower new in March 2023. I have 15hrs on it now. Absolutely love it! Can't say enough good things about my JD X390. This is my 1st mower with power steering. Never going back to manual!! The 18" high back seat is incredibly comfortable. I purchased the optional arm rests for it... It's just an awesome mower !

I bought this mower about 2 months ago, i added the one touch mulch kit to the 48" deck it works awesome love it.

Found an easy way to open and close the chute when going in and out of the shed or in a tight area. The holes are already in the deck. Just took a matching green bungee, opened one end up a little to fit in the hole on the left side which is on a little angle, and drill a little hole on the chute. Sitting on the unit, I just pull the cord to the left and it stays up. Put the hook on the right side and it stays open. Simple and good looking fix.😁

i love my x 394 as well but they dealer says i cant put a blade on front without taking off deck...there is alot of iron on front of this mower and the cheaper models do this ....what is problem with putting blade out front with deck....also they could hook up the deck hydraulics to lower it >???? id use this alot...pushing leaf piless, much, top soil...just light stuff

Pretty nice, I got a s240 this year and am happy with it. I have less than than an acre of flat open area to mow so it didn’t seem like I needed anything bigger.
