Do you ever find yourself discovering a new scale model kit and thinking to yourself: "Wow… thanks awesome… I had NO idea that I needed that!?"

In today's video, we'll talk about that very scenario & the kits that I've been seeing lately that have really impressed me with their unique & often whimsical subjects.

MiniArt is a Ukraine-based scale model kit manufacturer that produces a lot of really great figure kits, in particular, including these lovely examples that we'll check out today.

As a model builder for 60+ years seeing this line of kits just makes you shake your head. MiniArt just made building more confusing on "what can I do with that set ? ". I'm glad to see a company put out kits other companies would just laugh off. I enjoy building their kits, a lot of tiny parts and great detail overall. Thank you for the review Hank.

Miniart and icm have been killing it in the figure department. They have some nice small diorama sets too

Just about every model kit ever bought - regardless of manufacturer - was needless, but enjoyed buying them none the

Miniart has some of the best engineered kits out there. Love the armor kits!! Talk about details!!

Some of the older miniart stuff, especially their vehicles were a little rough around the edges. In the past few years however they’ve stepped up their game and produced some excellent kits. Their vehicles are super detailed and their figure and diorama accessories kits are some of the best outside of resin figures and accessories.

I could build Monty Python's cheese shop diorama but I would not need any cheese.

nice kits, thanks for the update, looking forward to your tutorial on these kits (if possible), the bread and cheese seems difficult to paint as in real life

how did you hang that bomber on the wall there, as someone that's space limited that's a nice way to display and utilise space.

It makes so much sense. Despite the war going on life continued in many ways. Civilians interacted with military personal in many ways. Well done miniart!

The sheep are great, I have already used the whole kit, and I was thinking about getting the butcher, however I need a suitable diorama to put them on, and I would love you getting a dog either 1/35 or 1/16 and painting it like Roger!Merry Christmas to you and Roger!

I recently built the MiniArt Grant mkII - superb quality, but the photo-etched bits were well out of my ability as a modeler. The stowage, however, was outstanding! I love these figures I could go for those.

Google the "somewhere in Saigon" figure 1:35 scale kit. I'm sure it's on scale mates 😁

Ukraine producing model kits at this time is like Heinz developing 57 Sauce in 1862.

SO VERY COOL - since I was doing my building in the 1970s-80s... there were almost NO civilian figures... almost makes me want to spend money.
