I read Autobiography of a Yogi back in the late 70s and it was the most important book I ever read. I think I read it about 20 times since then - Yogananda was an inspiration and a wonderful human being - bless you, Param!

I saw this trailer last night and watched the movie! Amazing! Cannot wait for my copy of the autobiography I ordered!!

I would like to say with humility that I have been studying eastern religious thoughts and philosophy for nearly 35 years now (since the age of 12), and a person would be hard pressed to find teachings with the depth of Yogananda's.  The book, "Becoming Enlightened" by the Dalai Lama, in my opinion, is also very profound and at the top of the list.  Finally, the book, "Power of Intention" by Dr. Wayne Dyer is a more than worthy read as well.  Namaste to all of humanity!

Just saw this in a theater yesterday.  I hope many people go to see it.  I thought it was wonderful, and powerful.  It seemed to me  that even more than just conveying Yogananda's life, and telling details that many people may not know, it was also conveying a universal message..one that the world certainly needs to hear more than ever.  You don't need to be a Yogananda devotee or follower to find this meaningful, inspiring, and very thought provoking.

Guruji is the only teacher I have come across who completely exemplified universal, unconditional love for all humanity. Intoxicated with divine love himself his only desire was to awaken that divine love in ALL of God's children.
