I got one of those as a gift from a family member and thought I was playing it wrong for a whole year before I say a video that told me it was just horrifically out of tune. It's beautiful, but one day id like to get a proper one

I got this one years ago and thought actually try learning it recently and it’s alright ig, im relearning the piano and want to learn a wind instrument but I’m not too committed as to buy a more expensive ocarina. I’m thinking of buying a Ney instead but then I’ll have to actually learn it

The funny part is, I have that exact same one.

For the simple purpose of not playing it for actual purposes, no I’ll wait until I can actually buy a good one before I learn anything more than Zeldas Lullaby, which may or may not be considered “Simply works for reference, definitely sounds bad”
