Brutal 6 Hour Bus Journey to Almaty, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
Показать описание
📍Almaty, Kazakhstan
📲 Land border crossings made easy with Holafly as always!
Join us, on the worlds hottest bus, from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Almaty, Kazakhstan. We start on a journey to Bishkek Bus Station, on good faith (a blog we read, dated 2009) in order to get a bus into Kazakhstan. We arrive at the wrong place (no surprise) and have to run to find a bus leaving with 20 minutes. We get to the right bus station and are directed on where to get tickets. Purchased with 3 minutes to spare we board to bus heading to the old Kazakh capital. Grabbing the final 2 seats on the bus, we are sat with a Russian and a Kazakstani. We chat for a short time before arriving at the land border crossing and received a lovely welcome from a shop attendant. Jack brushes up on his Spanish and after what feels like forever we arrive in Almaty. We say goodbye to friends we have made, bonded though sweat, sweat and more sweat and part ways.
We book onto a trip that leaves night and realise we can't get on another bus without showering. We head to Hostel Loco, who allow us to shower at their hostel without staying. Feeling refreshed we head out to try some local Kazakhstan food to end the video.
