The only country with no divorce ...

Divorce is about getting out of a failed situation. It only confirms a reality that already exists. It follows breakup, not the other way around. Legislation will create social justice for people who live inside domestic violence and people who need a second chance.

Marriage is not solely about the couple and their relationship. It is, in fact, the sacred vow to which you become a family. When you marry a woman, she becomes your wife and thus, spiritually and legally becomes a member of your family and when you become family, there is no going back of which you are already aware of before you signed that contract and made that vow. You can't 'unfamilised' a family member. Once a family, always a family.

@chrisluffy25 Philippines is not FYI a Christian country..majority, yes...but to say it is Christian or Catholic country definitely, no...there are also indigenous people living here in the Philippines....not including Muslims....the law should provide equal rights in the country....it is unfortunate that the law is bias to the Catholic community!

Give me something convincing that divorce will once and for all eliminate domestic abuse and will not create an avenue for other types of abuses. I heard that divorce lawyers are actually one of the top earners in their profession.
