The "wick test" on a 5 minute chart is simply a retest of Support/Resistance on a smaller timeframe chart like the 1 minute

One day, you will lose heavily, due to double top scenario, it doesn't always work that simple. Infant the price can deep further down and then move up after hitting your stop losses
