Nice selection! Calbee has some gluten free chips so I might get to try the biluca! Love how Japan has ever changing new offerings. Your opinions and your husband's are very polite and nuanced which is appreciated

These crunchy baguettes remind me of something called 7 Days Bake Rolls here in Europe (I guess it's in the US as well? Not sure), with those you can kind of choose whether you want more or less flavor by choosing the side you put against your tongue, if you want more flavor you put the one with flavoring closer to your tongue and if you want less you do it the other way. They're one of my favorite snacks.

Quite a variety of snacks, Shinichi! My favorites would be the same as yours, I think--the potato chips and the matcha cookies (I had no idea Nissin made cookies 😋). As always, you're a gentleman when voicing your opinions--very balanced and polite. I appreciate that. Sending good vibes to you and Satoshi. 💙💙

I think the toasted bread snacks might be called Melba Toast.

Toast points or beagle chips. Those are great to top with fresh bruschetta

Matcha in spring is probably because the best tea is from the tips of the new growth.

I would love to see a video about savoury snacks. Or some with fish flavour.

Shinichi…When I was growing up, I would buy a French bread, cut very thin slices like the Zaku Bage 3:31, butter & toast it, & eat the entire loaf. 😋

In my country those Zaku Bage are called "bread chips" and we have them in a lot of different flavours ... my favorite is tomato basil and pizza... kinda sad there are so many cool snacks I can't get in Japan.

I'm on holidays in japan now! I'm going to try and find that nissin matcha cookie. By the way I tried the curry pan at 7 eleven as per your recommendation and it was soooo good. My favourite curry pan so far. Thank you!

You make me think of Mr. Spock, sometimes, Shinichi-san! When there's something you don't like very much, but you're too decent to say so, you go "Hmm... Interesting". He did that too 😂
These stuffs all look rather childish to me, except for the Ace coins. I think I'd like those best, it looks pretty and it can't be bad, since it's macha, right?
What I've been thinking, about subjects... actually, does it ALWAYS have to be food? There is so much more stuff to find in Japanese shops (at least as far as I know) that you can talk about and that we would be interested in, so long as it's Japanese...
