Kakasana (काकासन)

I started yoga in 2010 under Ashley’s recommendation. And I loved it.

Back then, I’d do 5 classes a week of Ashtanga yoga at Full Circle in Orlando; then on tour I’d do yoga every day.

Yoga took a bit of a backseat when I got into BJJ, where I’d still keep it going, but it was a heavily abridged practice.

A year ago, Ashley asked if I wanted to go with her again to Full Circle regularly - and I’ve been back full on with yoga (alongside BJJ and weight lifting). I try to hit 3-4 days of yoga classes a week to couple the 4 a week of BJJ and 5 a week of weights.

Ashley also is now a certified yoga teacher!

My goal is the handstand. But you gotta learn to walk before you fly. Ashley has been helping me extensively with my crow pose - and it’s finally taking flight!
