I experienced that about 30psi is a really good spray pressure when trigger was pulled full open got great results with most paints.

actually just did a black tricoat green pearl on my trunk and hood for the first time over the weekend and I've been watching these videos for about a month I'm actually really impressed with the results I got a run or two but it's nothing that I can't fix after the clear coat is nice and cured up!!...I'm gonna tackle the rest of the car today with white tricoat green pearl. ..wish me luck!!!
