I’ve decided to choose the man that has wisdom and good character. The other night he overheard me saying I feel like I’m not a good mom if I can’t find time to get my toddlers hair done occasionally (said in front of my daughter), and he took me aside and kindly said never say such things INFRONT of her. She may not think so now, but if u can’t do her hair one day when she’s older, she will remember those words u said when she was young and think u are not a good mom. Bcz you put those thoughts in her subconscious when she was very young. I thought in my heart, “I picked the right man! Look at this wisdom.” I needed that. Everybody needs good leadership and criticism at times to get better. Iron sharpens iron. I realized I picked the right man in that moment ❤️

Many women pick men similar to their dad, males in their environment or males their mothers knew. In other words it's usually generational, learned, familiar & feels natural.

Pray for better dad's, uncles etc to teach their daughters how to vet a man & show their sons what is true leadership.

This is happening because many women(including myself)grew up in fatherless homes.A girls father is her first love.He is suppose to show her how a man should be.Then she in turn will pick someone who resembles what she is shown. Most women who didn't have a father around end up picking a guy just like him. Even if he wasn't in her life, she will pick someone with his traits unbeknownst to her.

Yes sir. A good leader not only leads, but he is humble and open minded enough to listen to his wife's advice, suggestions, ideas. Respect her intelligence. I have known a number of men who do not or will not respect their wives enough to lend them their ears to be heard.
