- Ishida had more backstory with his 2 childhood friends - More siblings story (now and past) between Nishimiya and her sister - Nishimaya became suicidal since her childhood, and his sister aware of it (but in the movie it only appeared as a little flashbacks, scenes like young Nishimiya cried or even bleeding on the floor, it will makes you confused) - Nishimiya's sister tooks photos of dead animals/insects to show Nishimiya that it is bad to be death (they didn't explain this in the movie) - Nishimiya's sister cut his hair short because she saw Nishimiya getting bullied back in childhood and she tried to stood up for her - The group made a movie project for festival (the movie project has a HUGE part in the manga story) - The school festival scene in the ending of the movie was actually still on the halfway part in the manga, the manga's story still continues after the festival - More back story/character development for every person in the group (there is an entire chapter that filled with the back stories of every person of the group, including Ishida and Nishimiya) - Ueno had a crush to Ishida since childhood, that's why she always mad and became jealous to Nishimiya (they didn't show this in the movie) - Ishida and his 2 childhood friends will get along in the end - The manga ends with Ishida holding Nishimiya's hand when they are about to enter the hall of their elementary school reunion (For those of you who wondering what is the meaning of the black screen and little dot white in the center, in the white dot you can see the silhouette of Nishimiya and Ishida enters the reunion hall, just like the end in the manga! Stating that they will be together in the end)~

This really happens in reality! The girl that you used to bullied when you were kids endin up falling in love to that girl. My Fiancee, I'd always made her cry and made fun of her when we were in grade school. Totally love this movie!

If you guys want more you should definitely read the manga, their is wayyy more detail, and at many points it implies ishida doesnt want her taken away and would be upset if she got with someone else lol, they also become hairdressers together, and at the end they hold hands so they can be strong and go to their school reunion, it implies they might be together in the future, but regardless their relationship is beautiful and makes me cry, im glad they finally found peace
