Serious answer: It's neo-soul guitar, I know to a lot of people that seems reductive, but it's a style/trend very firmly rooted in neo-soul and jazz fusion so just because some artists spice it up a little by adding elements of prog or math rock or metal or whatever their personal flair is and alter the sound in their own unique way, that doesn't mean it stops being neo-soul, and there's nothing wrong with that because it's a beautiful sounding genre
