I'm super confused. Why did you even include password managers that offer a useless free version? For example, Dashlane free version only allows you to store 50 passwords. 1Password doesn't really have a free version, just a 14-day trial. And you exclude real free password managers like KeePass and Bitwarden. Even LastPass has a better free version than 1Password and Dashlane.

After the usual expectations (zero knowledge, AES or equivalent), I require support for custom fields. This one can be a dealbreaker for me. Second to that, is multi-device support (portable vault file is adequate as well, like Keepass does). That's also a dealbreaker. Support for TOTP is useful, but not essential. Finally, having a very good browser extension is extremely useful.

Bitwarden free covers nearly all of that. Keepass has everything except a very good browser extension. Combining the two covers all of the bases for me.

Unfortunately I forgot my master password with Dashlane. So I can't use it anymore. Then I purchased Roboform, and I don't know how to use it. I'm hopeless. I had two other named password savers on my phone, but don't like those either. I know. I'm the problem. But still hoping to find something what will work for me.
