One of the biggest issues with Free Password Managers is that many of them significantly restrict their features. So here are the ONLY free password managers that don't.

--SMPOST--Did you know that most free password managers are significantly restricted? Not @Synology @Zoho or @Bitwarden !

Great video👍
I have a Synology NAS and, because Bitwarden is open source, I can selfhost it on my Synology NAS and therefore have the full Bitwarden experience with all its normally payed features for free. It works pretty well and many other people are using my custom server as well (but I only recommend to do this if you really know them). I can even use the official Bitwarden apps and extensions for free because you can select a custom server during the setup.

I just switched from Lastpass to Bitwarden. I don't know if Bitwarden has revamped their UI since you made this video but I think the app is clean and sleek. I was expecting it to be rough but have been pleasantly surprised.

Ps. Just subscribed. I'm in the middle of binging your videos right now lol

Now this is quality content! This is exactly the information I wanted to see, the free versions of password managers and how they all compare. You were very detailed too thanks. Subscribed.

I use enpass where you can store your data in a cloud service of your choice which is kinda like having 3 factor if your cloud service requires yet another Password lol. It has desktop, browser integration and mobile, the thing you pay for is to sync across all devices and more custom catgeories.

Hey Pete according to your apple experience… how long A14 Bionic will perform smoothly ? Since iPad os 15 ruined my air 4… I have fear to update it next time.

What I miss in your review is if there is a possibility to share a vault with someone. It is one of the reasons I have chosen for 1Password where this works well. If your partner does not care for a password manager, she/he can be your biggest security risk, so easy sharing is very important.

I have found "passbolt". It's free and open source password manage. Can you give us a rating for it ? 🙂
