Oren is the BEST. I took his Authentic Communication course early this year. I’ve learned so much. THANK YOU SIR🙋🏼‍♀️

I would so much love for there to be a conversation about withholding and shutdown as a form of "communication"...of power, of manipulation...perhaps even to "gaslight".

I appreciate your sharing these insights: presence, pause, intention, etc. I’m going to implement these in my conversations.

Are you familiar with 'Focusing' by Eugene Gendlin, Oren? Thank you for the wonderful talk you gave. I just found you and I'm so happy for that.

Thank you, Oren. Very useful foundations for human communication: Lead with Presence of mind/body (internal--feel sensations & pause); Intention comes from curiosity and care and addresses all needs, not just mine, such as understanding (relational--listen & "am I getting it?"); & Attention to focus on what matters, the why, which leads to compassion (external). Does this also apply to communicating with animals, such as dogs?

3:03 far from being something that's merely 'accessible', I'd say it's the fulcrum that makes us human: communication
