I took a mental health day and thus had a long weekend to catch up on some reading and other things that needed to be done. Alongside with some updates and rambling thoughts of where I am just now.

Books mentioned:
What You Are Looking for Is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama
The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna Van Praag
Geekerella by Ashley Poston
The Case of the Haunted Haunted House by Drew Hayes

Geekerella is one of my favorites! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I really like the rest of this series too— Bookish & the Beast is my favorite.

I feel the same as you—I don’t mind work (especially since I got this new job) but I’m also perfectly happy to not work on holidays and weekends.

Sorry that you are in a slump period. 🙁 ❤

Enjoyed your Vlog as always. You have so many things going, enough to make me Dizzy😄
I just finished reading 'Heart of Darkness' and I'm scratching my head.
Will now dive into Hemingway's 'Men Without Women' 🤔

Funny story about ebooks and falling asleep: I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as an ebook, and one day I read it on the bus, and I kept falling asleep, and somehow I was touching the progress bar while I was asleep, so every time I woke up I was in a different place. I wasn't very invested anyway; I was just reading it for my book club, and I was already very familiar with Pride and Prejudice. So, for a while I was really confused about the Zombies part. But I figured it out anyway, but it was all mixed up in my mind. Good job taking a break day!

Thanks for the insight into What You Are Looking for Is in the Library. I think I’ll skip it.
