A shield can also block the vex attacks. If you use a sword, use a shield alongside it.

I have a theory about Allay and Vex relations, and I don't think they're actually the same thing. Lemme explain :D
So honestly I thought the Allay was somehow created by the Evoker *until* I saw the new gameplay footage for Minecraft Legends, there we see natural allays that don't seem to have any connection to the Illagers, therefore we can conclude that at least not all allays come from them, cuz there's no evidence of illagers being in Legends. So my new theory is this: the Illagers are trying to figure out how the Allay works so they can see if they can form the same bond with Allays that Players can, so they can use the Allays to help them loot Villages. But they've been unsuccessful for years, and now Allays are all but extinct (poor lil guys) so they keep their remaining ones confined so they can't lose them (it's not known currently if they know about Allay Duplication, so for now I'm assuming they don't) Their efforts remain unsuccessful, however the Evokers gained enough knowledge from studying them that they've learned how to use Soul Power to harness and summon similar Soul Entitys (assuming the allay is a Soul-based entity) to the Allays, and they form them after Allays because well it's obvious the Illagers like to copy things (the wool replicas of End Portals, Cats, and Chickens in the Mansions)
But hey, that's just a theory. A GAME THEORY-

i love this series so much!!! ive played this game on and off for so long, but never really dove deep into mechanics, lore and mobs until i started watching you!!! its so nice having fun facts, technical info and creative ideas for the subject all in one video!

i feel like this would constitue multiple videos, but i would love to see some "everything about structures" videos! maybe one for ocean structures, rare structures like the fossils, or major ones like the stronghold or the nether fortress, etc. !! exploring what loot you can find, how to navigate structures, and technical stuff, like what mobs do and do not spawn in certain structures would be great anddd informative!!

Dark oak is seen used as revovated material in the Anceint Cities. Guess who else used dark oak wood? The Pillagers. I theorize that the Allay came from the Ancient Cities.

The vex can despawn in a boat unless that's been changed since 1.16.5 it's a failsafe in raid farms to catch them in boats.

At some point I'll have to try a Warden vs. multiple Vexes battle and see how it plays out. EDIT: Aww, the Warden and Vexes ignore each other on both platforms. Bummer.
