Dr. Steve! I would have never thought you a headbanger! Welcome! You are absolutely correct in this. As a long time metal fan, I am always proud of how cultured and nuanced metal can be. Metal is and always has been a music for the bottom classes. It is a voice for those that have no voice. A fist in the face of everything elitist and entitled. It's our culture, our heritage, our patriotism. It's our system of values by which we measure the world. It is our strength and conviction of character. It's not so much of a music style as it is part of our conscience. BTW: James Hetfield is a very well known conservative.
