I learnt on each hand individually. Right then left. As a beginner this made me feel like I was making progress faster. But combining both was a completely different animal. I would recommend learning with both hands from the start for sure if you are a beginner. It is more difficult but more time efficient. If you learn one hand at a time you learn the song but you don’t learn how to play the song.

The real thing isn’t actually as difficult as it is portrayed. For example: i’m twelve and I learned the first two parts (of the actual piece) in only one week. Though I do have some past experience but generally you just need to be dedicated.

The right hand is the same as it is in the actual piece. The left hand is much different, but to really learn this piece, you need to learn them both at the same time. There are sections were there is offbeat timing, so it is essential to learn both

I'm very new to piano. I set the playback speed to .25 and have been learning this one hand at a time, I'm having trouble both speeding up the song without getting lost and synchronizing both hands. Any tips? I'm a few days in of practicing for 1.5 hrs each day btw.
