If you're lazy like me dont want to create masks with the pen tool you can use roughen edges to make the edge. Stack a few of them up at different scales.

Hi! It's a great tutorial! What if I need to tear two parts of the same scene? For example, first tear the paper in the top left corner and then in the bottom right corner? I need to do it for a project but I can't get it figured out!

I have watched this tutorial for the last two hours and I cannot get it. Maybe I'm missing something. It just feels like he skips a step when he starts working on the first page and it looks like he edits it in a separate composition, but it looks like the changes he makes in another composition automatically impact the image in another composition. It was just really confusing.
