Hi everyone!!

In this video we will understand the basic working of Hydrogen Fuel Cell. Know the main components of fuel cell. Understand the working principle along with the reactions at anode, cathode and total cell reactions.

The main component of Fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) is Hydrogen Fuel Cell Stack. The electricity is generated by fuel cell which uses hydrogen (H2) gas and oxygen (O2) gas. The most commonly used fuel cell is polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM).

FCEVs generate their electricity onboard. The fuel cell stack consists of hundreds of individual fuel cells that generates the required voltage for the motor.

Tomorrow is my b. tech 1st sem chemistry exam I didn't listen this fuel cells class in classroom, now I saw into the notes it's like a ghost but after your expliantion that question be like oh so much easy.. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Great illustration. A suggestion to make this more useful by explaining the output of the fuel cell(s) to run a motor/engine that in turn is connectted to the rest of vehicle via the transmission to produce motion.

Need to add few points in the video :
1. Add explanation why we are using Hydrogen only to get the electrons
2. How the flow of electron is determined ? Is there any potential gradient in the circuit ??
