GERMAN CHRISTMAS MARKET MUSHROOMS✨
A classic German Christmas Market dish that you can make at home. Super easy and quick to make.
Ingredients:
for the mushrooms:
1 pound baby bella mushrooms
one onion, finely chopped
one garlic clove
one tbsp butter
olive oil for the pan
salt, pepper
one tbsp chives
for the garlic sauce:
200 gr greek yogury or creme fraîche
one garlic clove
salt, pepper
1 tbsp chives
1. Mix all the ingredients for the garlic sauce. Cover and put it in the fridge.
2. Clean your mushrooms with a papertowel and trim the end. DO NOT wash them in water.
3. Peel your onions and finely chop them, set aside.
4. Peel and crush your garlic, set aside.
5. Heat up a pan, spray with olive oil and add your mushrooms. Sautée for 5 minutes.
6. Add your onion and sautée 5 more minutes.
7. Add your garlic, salt and pepper and sautée for a minute.
8. Add butter and let it melt. Remove from heat and let it cool down a bit.
9. Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with chives
10. Get your garlic sauce and sprinkle with chives aswell.
11. Dip your mushrooms in the sauce and enjoy!
