Agreed! About chair height or bed height. If you decide to get up in the middle of the night (super dark in the woods!) it's helpful to feel similar to getting out of bed

I always go pretty high, I'm a 2m tall dude and I usually go for a height where I have to jump a bit to get in. Once had a bunch of wild boars go straight beneath me and I was quite happy I was that far of the ground. Plus it was a really great experience watching them while feeling really save in my castle up in the trees :D

I like to have 2. 1 down low to chill on, but I sleep in the second one that's usually about 8 ft. I'm safe at that height and if I fall I can land in my first hammock. The only downfall is I have to climb the tree to get in bed. Luckily I'm pretty nimble. It's called 2 hammocks or double hammock.

I use a hammock when cruising. While on a balcony hang lower than the rail. That way if you fall out, you don't fall over.

If you put the strap on “backwards” the you don’t have to wrap it around the tree (it’s faster)

I have to have my hammocks very close to the ground. That's why God made me short.
