This was created to see if the newer Samsung midrange is good enough sgainst the toughest competitor out there the flagship iPhone 14 Pro. Looking quickly, iPhone 14 Pro is better in performance and speed because of the flagship chip A16 bionic, it has a more premium build also comes with the higher costs. But the midrange Galaxy A54 is no slouch, it has a good screen, though not as bright as iPhone but still an AMOLED screen. It also has great batter life and will be supported for the next 5 years. The best thing about this phone is the price, it is one third as the iPhone 14 Pro. So the question today here is, if you are not a gamer or heavy user, which is the real winner here?

You know that this phone is good if compared to the top dog phone. To me personally for 1/3 the price - you get 88% the same quality of photos which is absolutely amazing.

This is actually the best and most honest review I've seen of these two phones. Iphone is obviously better, but the A54 gives it a run for it's money in some instances...

I had the chance to test both in a head to head in low(ish) light, and I was shocked that the Samsung A54 was brighter and sharper, it also had less image noise. The A54 is a fantastic mid-range phone.

I bought the a54 5g June 2023 and have used it all day every day for around 10 months now, and it's still running great, and the battery still lasts. The iPhone 14 pro has a 3200mah battery and the pro max has a 4323mah, the a54 has a 5000mah. I grabbed it randomly when I was opening a new line with metro pcs because they didn't have any iphones at the time and needed a new phone then and there. I was shocked at how well it performs and feels in the hand.

Why does the iphone make the photos so unnaturally dark and contrast

Please ensure that HDR is enabled either in the camera app or if this feature is not available, in the camera assistant app. The difference in dynamic range, particularly in the high light roll off, is significantly better with HDR enabled.
I don't have the Galaxy A54, but I noticed it on my Galaxy S22 Plus.
Your Galaxy A54 photos look to me like they were processed without HDR

Due to the huge difference in value, the A54 is much more worth buying than the iPhone 14 Pro! because in cameras the difference between the 2 is minimal.
