In this video, I am taking a 2016 (10th Generation) Honda Civic Sedan for a drive/review.

I'll be talking about all of the different aspects of what it's like to own and live with these cars, and I hope to give you some insight as to if this car could potentially be a good fit for you.

I'll be covering the following topics:

Maintenance/reliability - Are these Civic's just as reliable as older Honda's? I would be willing to say that the 2.0L engines are similar to what we've seen in the past from Honda, but the new 1.5L Turbo engines have had some issues already and I don't know if we will see the traditional longevity out of these engines that we used to see in the past.

Noise/Comfort - How comfortable are these new Civic's? And do they still struggle with lots of cabin noise getting into the car?
Factors that I am happy to report have been hugely improved on compared to previous Civic's.
They are very comfortable cars and also are far more insulated than older Civic's, so they have done very well in those areas.

Space - Happily, these new cars have basically just as much space as the 8th and 9th Generation Honda Civic's. The leg room in the driver/passenger seats is slightly less than before, but this is because you now have more room to store your belongings/plug in your phone or 12v accessories.

Interior - In my opinion, these 10th Generation Civic's have the best interior of any Civic, hands down. They are very classy, have lots of new tech features to keep its drivers happy. The touch screen is large and easy to use and the new gauge cluster is fully LED and very modern. I'm really happy with the refreshing new interior that you get in these cars and they're both modern/sporty yet classy at the same time.

FUN Factor - How fun are these new Civic's?
Happy to say that they are a VERY fun car to drive, no matter which trim level you purchase. Obviously the 1.5L Turbo engine is far more entertaining to drive than the 2.0L But with every model, you get the great new interior, updated suspension, wider wheel base, better brakes and a nice thick steering wheel as well. All of these options together make the new Civic VERY fun to drive and very agile. I was very impressed with the torque from the Turbo engine as well. Lots of fun!

If you have any questions about this car, please feel free to send me a message!

Here's another review I did on the 8th Generation Civic:

Thanks again for watching and God bless!

I watched this video and because of it I might buy myself a Honda Civic. Also I like that you put in “the little 1.5 that wants to be a Lamborghini”.

The 10th gen is my favorite Civic by far.
I own the 2018 EX-T (bought new June 2018) with 69, 000 miles to date (nearly three years). I’m averaging 32.8 mpg city/highway with no issues at all so far. Of course I maintain all my cars religiously. I change the oil/filter every 5, 000 miles. I change the engine air filter every 10, 000 miles. I only use top-tier fuel with the most detergent (Shell 93 Octane). Despite my aggressive maintenance schedule, I’m still considering a walnut blast at 75, 000 miles because it’s a turbo. I hope to keep this Civic for over 250, 000 miles.

The 10th Gen civic is a great car for the $.
I purchased a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with the manual transmission and 2.0 naturally aspirated port injected motor. I felt it was the most reliable way to buy a Civic as a daily driver 👍🏻

I wanna buy a 10th gen civic but i don't know whether to get the 1.5T or 2 0 NA. I do instacart on the side so i start and stop fairly frequently with around 20-30 minutes between each order. What do you guys recommend?

Hey bro. I got a Civic 2020 Sport. They recommend Premium and I haven't used regular so far. Are you 100% positive I could put regular? 😣 that would save me a fortune

So I’ve seen people complain about turbo problems. I want a turbo. Does anybody have a ex-t that runs well?

OMG I own the 1.5 Turbo 2017 model . My car has had many warranty issues which is just quality build which this car lacks, however the engine and transmission are perfect. My Civic from day one has had many interior rattles and annoying noises, the dash, doors and pillars who wants to drive a car with these annoying noises to bug the shit out of you. You fix one noise another comes back, rubbish build quality. Infotainment system I'm on unit No.4. Rear seat belts that won't retract back into position, finally when the dealer replaced them under warranty the comment on the work card stated poor quality build . Seat upholstery clips keep coming undone and the small plastic clips are just so cheap and rubbish. Water leaking into headlights and tail lights. Road noise is not that good but this also depends on the tyres, performance tyres will give you more road noise. Around town economy not great, on long distant highway driving in eco mode things start to improve a lot.
What I really like about this car is the handling whatever you throw at it, it says back to you bring it on. Plenty of power when you need it, smooth as gear change it's like perfect every time.
This car looks great and brings lots of attention. Im at 160, 000 km from new and every km in this car has had a noise from the dash, doors pillars etc rattle rattle squeak squeak turn the tunes up and try and forget it.
I'm sorry I didn't buy a Camery, everytime I hop in one I listen for interior noises and there are none. Heaps more space in the back then the Civic as well.
Saying all that the Civic has excellent safety rating so this sits well for me when I pass this car onto my daughter when she can drive and she won't care about interior noises which she tells me to get over it.
Stay safe and thank you for you review.
