When I was a teenager I got a job as a dancer on a show she was in, so I got to see the real person close up. Watching her rehearse was amazing! But more amazing was her humility, kindness and respectfulness to everyone. No Diva just a talented wonderful human being!!! And yes she certainly was a lady!!🏆🏆⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💃

My ex boyfriend's father played bass in Ike and Tina's band. I did hear a whisper of how it was a roller coaster ride of an experience in that band (along with its challenging moments). With the drama she experienced in that marriage made her a fighter and a survivor. Thank God she was liberated on that day in Dallas, TX from Ike. To start another amazing chapter to her life that had a happy ending. RIP Tina.

Sad to hear Tina passed away. My dad was always a huge fan. He worked in a hotel in London, and Tina often stayed there when she was in the UK. My dad couldn't praise her enough and loved her music.

Tina is truly iconic. Got to see her in concert a few years ago and I couldn't take my eyes off her. Not because she's such an attractive woman with legs that go on for miles, or that she can interpret any song from any genre and make it hers, or for her fame and popularity. It was because this lady has an energy within her that can only be described as angelic. She made my spirit throb.

I was in an elevator at Bendels in New York City when this petite, well dressed (a beautifully tailored Armani suit in black ) African American woman entered. Very quiet and proper in her demeanor. She smiled a little smile to acknowledge me. Hmmm I thought. She seems familiar. It was only as she exited and I saw a pair of incredible legs that the lightbulb went off. OMG! That was Tina Turner and looking every bit like a lady. RIP Ms Tina.
