The U.S. doesn't appreciate anyone until they're gone. She did right.

After all that has happened to this legendary woman she still has that innocence about her, beautiful, elegant, classy, warm, spiritual, and just such a great personality.

I understand why Tina left the US. The US was fascinated with her past. Why live in the past, when you can live in the moment? RIP Tina.

My dad was a gardener at her house in Switzerland until a couple of years ago. She was always very friendly and never pretentious. She gave up her US citizenship, became Swiss and we love to have such a legend as a new compatriot.

She’s so humble comparing herself to Madonna! Tina Turner is bigger than Madonna in my mind!

I can’t believe she was almost 60 in this video and looked like a woman in her late 30’s. Gorgeous, just gorgeous; RIP legend.

In America, you're only as big as your last hit record.  In Europe and other countries around the world, once you're famous and they like you, you are famous forever.

She introduced me to Nam Myoho Renge Kyo in 1998 and I've been chanting ever since. It changed my life. She changed my life. "Winter always turns to spring and you can turn the poison into medicine".

Her eyes dropped when he mentioned Ike. “Who?” Was a brilliant response. 💙

After watching her WONDERFUL documentary and seeing how the intellectually lazy media treated her by insulting her with questions about Ike, this interview is just as infuriating. She is beyond gracious.

I've met her in 1989 while working on some of her projects. A wonderful, kind, thoughtful and unpretentious human being. She deserves all the accolades and success she has earned.

While living in England, 1984 -1986, Tina was so loved there that if you said anything negative about her you could expect to receive a beat down. What she says about her being so well received in Europe was an under statement, she was considered a goddess.
