In the above lecture, at 17:14  time frame, you have M(A) and M in same direction. should  the be in same direction  or they should be acting in opposite direction to be balanced? I mean, I had seen a case where M(A) and M (moments) were in opposite directions.
Could you please explain me how they work? thank you

how can we find the maximum moment and its location using the deflection equation that you came up with at last.?

just a quick question. everything would be same even you solve tis beam doing mirror image right?
I mean, whatever the values you got for the equations, would be same if you had roller on left and fixed on right, correct!!!
