I passed test to enter cybersecurity bootcamp not even knowing what is it in 2019(i just used their test to train). I started to study with them and completed network engineering and cyber security specialists with fine colors but in reality I knew only learned by heart labs, almost, particularly in cybersecurity. So going down the rabbit whole of the IT world and finding my path I ended up doing cs50 and it answered so many questions for me with my ocd alike nitty-gritty behavior it is just perfect.

No, the commentor is right. CS job market is extrenely competitive. Unless you're self taught so you don't have to pay college, or you study for a Masters w/ internship programs and a strong resume, getting a well paying job in CS in todays market is tricky. Its viable to live off of yes, but vertcial mobility in your career will be stagnant at best. But yeah, most job dirextions these days have the same problem, except for newer more obscure ones, or trades. I was going go for a trade until I picked up my psychology major. I urge everyone to do research on the job market before deciding a college/career path.

2nd comment man! Really like your videos. You motivate me and other coders and programmers who seek your video for help, entertainment, etc. Just like it, no doubt on that man!

I feel like this question is misguided - like is ANY degree "better" than the other? Every market is competitive, and standing out (and being lucky) is a part of every field.

YOURE MISSING THE CRUCIAL MARKET EVERY MILLENIAL, GEN Z, AND GEN ALPHA CAN GET INTO…

THE TRADES!

You can not tell me, it’s better to do CS and accumulate debt to get the degree, when you can start in the trades and make good living. YES, the pay for CS is great, if you can get that big buck job. Most won’t, and then start closer to what the trades will make.
