I hate it because it’s so much harder to get netherite armor now. They should have never done this

What I think about this new update is annoying than ever and its more harder but the trims on your armor are cool

Im just gonna use diamond gear now, and get netherite to repair my netherite chestplate i made pre update

honestly, i feel netherite needed to be harder to get, but this isn't the way to go about it. i found an upgrade template while just wandering around and it only took me around 20 extra minutes to get the diamonds needed to dupe enough of them. it's not making it actually harder, it's just making it more.

I actually dont get this update since netherite is the upgrade for diamond. Now we need a template as well even though we have the material? I think templates should just be for the armor cosmetics

My gripe about this specific template is that, for example, if you're a _new player_ in a *factions/anarchy* server with many nearby bastions _already raided._

How in the heck can you compete with people in Netherite gear who either:
• Keeps the templates for themselves
• Destroys the templates
• Only shares the templates with their friends
after they craft their Netherite items?

*TL;DR:* The Netherite template will ruin game balance in server types like anarchy.

I spent a solid 6 hours trying to find one the other day on bedrock. Finally found one after 8hrs.

Atleast they're easy to duplicate if you farmed a ton of diamonds

Go out somewhere in an ocean, put your render, simulation and entity distance to the smallest it goes, go back to 1.19 version and upgrade it without the template
Make sure you dont have any armor trims on your diamond armor that you want to turn into netherite otherwise it may disappear

Horrible because it takes hours to find a bastion and then you have to pray to RN Jesus that it has a smithing template
