Could Attack in 'Leave the World Behind' Really Happen?

In the apocalyptic thriller “Leave the World Behind,” America comes under a cyber attack that cripples everyday technology. Barack and Michelle Obama are the executive producers and helped write the chilling screenplay. Adding to the sense of anxiety, the enemy behind the devastating cyber attack in the movie was never made clear in the chaos. Now, some people are wondering if this could really happen. Inside Edition’s Steven Fabian has more.

I'm not really scared of the attack itself, it seems like it would be something that can be recovered from overtime, I'm much more afraid of people panicking and behaving like idiots without a plan or order to keep things in check.

They’re trying to tell us something without telling us anything

A movie that had a bad ending, but is a perfect example of our near future. The rumors in this movie have been heard IRL. The USA has far too many enemies due to entitled US citizens and corrupt politicians. Stereotypes will come to fruition, entitlement will be the norm, everyone depends on technology. The movie’s haters don’t understand the message within it

This was the biggest let down of a movie I have watched in a while. Kept feeling like it was building up to a big action scene, but then you just get a small little standoff between 3 old dudes arguing over some medicine and the whole movie is a, you get to decide how it ends or you get to decide what the plot was kind of movie.

The reason why the movie didn't focus on who did the cyber attack is so they could stream it in China.

We all know what happens but between the mysterious loud noises, lights in Earth’s orbit and animals acting strange I thought it might’ve been an alien invasion. But I really enjoyed the movie and highly recommend

The real danger would be from people over reacting. Almost everything automated has a manual override or emergency power cutoff switch.
