Going to be watching NFL for the next few years at least by the looks of it. I'm sure the chiefs will have a lot of new Welsh fans.
Very excited to see what he can do. He's naturally good at heads up rugby, as the clips you're showing prove, which will definitely translate well into the kick return aspect of the game if he's given that chance. I honestly don't think there's anything to worry about as far as contact is concerned, in fact I think the reverse will be true. He's used to getting completely stopped by very big lads, especially when he gets off the wing and starts mingling with the forwards. He's spent half in time in rugby getting destroyed.. He is also not afraid to tackle, given he is defending more than he's attacking in rugby. I think he will have surprisingly good fitness. The Welsh rugby conditioning setup has been world class for a long time.
I hope the chiefs do well. If Zammit makes the team, I can't wait to follow. I have confidence that he'll make the team

Hope so! I think he will be good too! He is so fast! I think he should be a good running back!

Don't sleep on the lad. He's played rugby at the highest level, and has been part of a Wales team that are not the best ever, things aren't clicking, but, he has the innate ability to make things happen from nowhere. End of the day, if he gets the ball, he'll find a way through a defensive line, and out run most. Knows his way to the line.

I believe and truly hope he can make it. Mentally as a professional sportsman he's there. Just need to adjust to his routine as a player, and tactical side of the game.

It would be nice to see some run/lateral option plays with him and Worthy

I see Louis being on the practice squad for a season, if not more. I would personally rather have Carson Steele on the 53, but what the heck do I know?

DK Metcalf has the highest recorded speed in the NFL (22.6 mph) LRZ was recorded 24 mph. McCaffrey ran a 4.49 at combine, LRZ ran 4.43 at pro day. Both fast but LRZ has the edge.

I wonder what the injury ratio is between rugby and football?
Dude will do well stamina-wise.

And the only thing similar about rugby and football is that they are contact sports and the kickoff. Which is why his best chance to make this team is special teams 🤞🏾🤞🏾

Let’s not get way ahead of ourselves. I Cant really think of any athlete from another pro sport that transitioned successfully in the NFL

I said it at the beginning. You guys are in for a shock. So many wrote him off before he even padded up. I stand by my earlier comments...just wait and see. I watched this guy play Rugby live, week in week out. Massive massive loss for us. Watch him go.

Are you guys serious? Dude might not even make the roster for OBVIOUS reasons. There is the mental side of football in reading protections and leverage he has no clue about. It's not his fault but he's competing against dudes that have played their whole life and have the mental reps. At BEST he could make the team as a special teamer but if you are waiting for him to take meaningful snaps this year at running back you simply don't understand football. Give the kid a chance to learn the game before comparing him to CMC 🤣 CMC is like 5'10 and Zammit is 6'2. I've been a Chiefs fan for years and I want the best for Reese but let's pump the brakes and maybe play attention more to what's actually happening in camp. He is only taking real kick returner snaps. Vert limited running back snaps. Let's ease up a bit on the expectations gentleman lol GO CHIEFS!!!!

Think he could make it, but not this year, making 53 is good ..Im a rugby fan, and dont usually follow NFL , have done cos of LRZ, BUT same as NFL player going to rugby for first time, apart from the fitness, they would struggle, .but LRZ is doing well, but not expecting more than making initial squad
