Are Wales Back? Have England Fallen off the Rails? Rugby Analysis - Wales v England Six Nations GDD

Wales v England is always a massive match for both teams, and this years Guinness Six Nations encounter at the Principality Stadium was one to remember! Wales beat England by a record score of 40-24 and never really looked like being troubled by Eddie Jones' men. But are Wales back to their best? And have England fallen off the rails?

This video explores the tactics used by both teams to try and manipulate, out fox, and out wit their opponents. Dan Biggar was mercurial with the boot and that made a huge difference to Wales's position going into half time just ahead. But there's no doubt most people will want to talk about Dan Biggar and his crossfield kick to Josh Adams and Liam WIlliams try following a bit of juggling from Louis Rees-Zammit!

Owen Farrell will come under some fire but there's possibly questions regarding the 8 penalties conceded by Maro Itoje!

Itoje was very lucky to not get a yellow card considering the amount of penalties given away.

I'm not convinced that Wales are back to their best, however that's a good thing as they are beating good sides home and away. What wales have done in the last year is bleed in some new talent such as Sheedy, Zammit, Botham, Hardy and Williams. We are in a very strong position as we have a great blend of youth and experienced players! What has also happened in the last 6 months is our defence has improved hugely! I am really excited to see how this most capped Welsh side gets along out in Italy. For me it should be a bonus point win, Wales by 45.

As an English man watching this channel for the first time- the first half I was thinking wow this is very bias however second half you bought England’s strengths in as well. Very balanced and unbiased video!

This was a fantastic video, and thats coming from and Englishman ;) lol.
I love watching the squidge rugby videos and find them very insightful and entertaining, but actually much prefer this kind of video.
So I'd love to see you do a similar thing for every game of the 6 nations, and any major international tournament.
And really like how you have focused on both teams, but very much understand why you have focused more on the winning team.
So seriously look forward to hopefully seeing more videos on international games like this.

The pass for Watson’s try was a mile forward. Later on Itoje entered a maul from the side and then collapsed the maul, right in front of the ref. This went unpunished, but was surely his sixth penalty and a yellow card.

Nice video geraint, you show the strengths of both teams with great analysis, I am welsh and anyone who thinks England are finished are mistaken and they can beat anyone on the day, wales are looking in better shape and it's nice to see them playing in a less restricted way....2 good teams who will be hard to beat on any given day...Great video

Awesome! What a great six nations Wales had, shame they lost discipline towards end of France game, lost out on some ref decisions too... but that’s just the game.
