This is a short video with seven Supermarket Simulator tips for beginners. This video should help you avoid making some beginners mistakes when playing the game. The gameplay you will see is on level 27 after 17 hours of play time.

Correction on tip #5 - You can take items from the shelves and put them back in a box by holding the appropriate size box and using the right click.

You can use the same size box to take things off the shelves

#5 is not totally correct.

Items can be placed back into boxes as long as they're the correct size. This was a HUGE thing I discovered and changes the game. So my biggest tip is to keep one of EACH box type for relocation and storage needs.

There is no rush to buy licenses. You can make good money and save to prepare for more licenses. If you buy multiple licenses it will be harder to keep up with demand as they can be expensive since you need to buy the license, buy shelves and keep them all stocked up.

You can easily keep playing to level 15 without buying any licenses and save money while having a good stock pile of goods.

Additionally by purchasing licenses at a slower pace you have time to think about how you want to setup the store and get the start up items organized better, if you are like me you may want to have goods placed in certain areas.

Also as stated by Blurrygil, provided you have the correct size box items can be moved. I always keep spare boxes of each item in case I want to do some moving around, it does come in handy.

The developer is planning to release an update that will allow one to move items without boxes (I can't wait for that to come out)

You can move items! I found out by accident. You just need the same size box so I always keep one box of each size.

Nice tips. I will try to play around with prices so they can be as high up without too many customers complaining.

tip. 2 is correct in low price item but in higher price one like 8-10 dollar i mark up 1-2 dollar and no one complaint. im still try to find where is the right spot for pricing.
