There are some good mods to add some QOL improvements. I don't use anything unrealistic. I use a mod that gives you the ability to scan items from the shelf tag, that automatically adds them to the order list, in combination with a mod that removes the 10 item limit for orders. These are real life things.

I also use a mod that speeds up the cashiers from 1.5 seconds per item scanned, to .5-1 second per scan, b/c nobody scans as slow as these cashiers. When I first started playing seeing how slow they were, I started searching for how to level them up as they gained experience. Then realized they were going to always be that slow... !@#$ that.
