I relate to that feeling so much about loving guitars that don't look "metal" or don't fall into the "all black or satin black" look and playing metal on them. I have only 1 black guitar and it's my Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty. Everything else is some obnoxious bright fun colors and bursts like greens, blues, purples, etc.

I feel you on the cold, I live in Rochester, NY, and yeah it's been cold and rainy here.

Nice good Guys for sure. I just picked up a 7 string baritone recently and love it.

My last guitar purchase was a Schecter C7 Sls Elite in Antique Burst. I agree about getting away from the black guitar. And it’s beautiful.

That black looks dope. I have the black Stephen Carpenter 7 string with the flipped headstock- so I may be biased😂 Good vid dude🔥

Hello from New England Ray...I've been subbed for a few months now but I believe this is my first comment...I give you 100% respect and props for serving ur country, and having spine probs with multiple surgeries I understand what chronic pain can do to a person. I'm a drummer but watch all kinds of gear and stuff cause as a musician I never stop learning and keeping tabs on New for the vids..have a good one...Peace from the Northeast...

I agree with your sentiment on bolt-on necks, they also just seem more resonant and feel snappier. I dont know the science behind it but thats just the way it is.

Are you the guy from the tik tok where a kid cried at guitar center and they said *oh no** cries*

Wanted a Balaguer for ages, but my spec ideas are over my budget 😂 semi hollow Astra (also baritone, oddly enough), reverse in-line headstock, evertune, and a single Guitarmory foxbat

Other than that, I've heard nothing but good things about them!

Isn't 27" pretty standard for 7 strings?

The world does not yet have enough bari 7's; thanks for finding and sharing.

Coming from a guy who has two full size acoustic 7 strings, come to find out - most dreadnoughts are at least 26" scale and mine are 27" - I have three AX7521 because I love them and they're affordable as hell but I'm always cramped because they're 24.75" scale and someday I will have a nice compliment of something that is a bit easier to move around up top. I can practice more now so it's becoming super apparent that at least extended practicing anything past 12th will be more comfortable on a longer scale.

That’s my aesthetic with metal guitars, too. From a distance my guitar is just another Tele style. Up close it’s “Wait. What!? An 8-string? Multi scale? Stainless steel frets? And it’s a Kiesel, too? Get out!” 😂
