I just finally finished building my dream rig and told myself I was done with buying stuff for a while...then Ola drops this! I've been wanting a baritone (mostly for the wicked, dark ambient stuff you can do with it; see: Rabea Massaad) and I've been interested in checking out an Evertune for years, so this looks like it'd be right up my alley. Guess I'll just need to keep reminding myself that I'm tapped out as far as discretionary spending goes. 😆

Man I've had many guitars in my day and love the Solar I just got recently better than any axe I've ever had. I got the double cut wop 6 string white open pore swamp ash body . It sounds, feels and looks so badass . Ola is the man . Love that guy. The metal community these days is incredible man. Can't wait to get me a baritone from Solar. Appreciate you brother and have fun with the baritone .

We went to our local GC to upgrade my 10y/o daughter’s katana mini to a full sized combo and there was a 2 series T type Solar for $700 and that was what she was trying amps on, she tried to be slick and when we went to pay for the amp she brought the guitar up to the counter. Like really, you can’t have a Solar until I get a Solar little girl, lol.

Friggin one if the best guitars I’ve ever played.
I have 5 Solar guitars. Two S1.6’s one neck thru one not both with floyd roses.
I also have the best bang for buck A1.6FRC. Black matte.
And the E1.6 FBB with evertune

I’ve asked Ola and Loiuse for a black beauty. Nope.

GC2.6C. Hard tail. Nickel frets not stainless ok. No locking tuners. Ok
But binding and all the pull push electrics my 1.6 has.
I’m probably gonna get ine in 6 weeks one towards Christmas for a friend.
And you can swap out stuff to make it a black beauty

Do you use a bass amp with a baritone guitar? I have found almost everything amp or cab I ran supper low tuning on would get Wierd vibrations as notes die off causing the cabinet to resonate and vibrate. Had a blackstar that would littleraly make a farting sound when a drop C note was played out and bass turned up how I liked it.

What are the duty taxes like on a high-end Solar? I've been looking at getting one, just don't know about the taxes.
