Ushakov. The Admiral by the grace of God.

We will present a reconstruction of the innovative ideas developed and implemented in combat practice by the legendary and invincible admiral: together with yachtsmen we will recreate the tricks of tactical maneuvering at sea, and with artillery historians we will conduct a combat approval of the cannon of Ushakov's time, placing it on the famous Ushakov swing. To get acquainted with the elements of the admiral, we’ll go to sea on a historic sailing ship of the 18th century, we will show viewers the exclusive underwater footage of the Turkish ship sunk by Ushakov's squadron in the Kerch Strait.
We will tell not only about the admiral's military talent, but also about his righteous life, because Fyodor Ushakov is the only naval commander in the world who was canonized by the church. In 2016, on the 15th anniversary of Fyodor Ushakov's canonization and the 320th anniversary of the Russian Navy, the Admiral's relics were first carried through the Russian cities with which his life was associated. And the brightest moments of this spiritual action - in our documentary.
In continuation of this nationwide project, the editors of the program Combat Approved, Mark on History, organized its entry into the international stage. Together with clergymen from Russia we traveled to Corfu - a Greek island, unassailable fortresses of which Ushakov took from the sea and thus liberated Greeks from French occupation. A delegation from Russia brought to Corfu an icon of the holy righteous warrior Fyodor Ushakov. We hope that this action will strengthen relations between the two Orthodox countries, Russia and Greece, united by the glory of our common hero, Fyodor Ushakov.

Isnt it interesting that in Russian his name is spelled starting with a "w" a double "U" and phonetically starts with the sound made by a "U"? And ends with a "B" which in an English translation is spelled with a "V"? A "B" and a "V" sound very similar especially if you exaggerate their sounds or hold them for longer as you pronounce them as an exercise. What is our true history or evolution?
