I have the RT-85. Can't really compare it to any other current turntables, as it's the first I've owned in decades, but I'll say I love it, and it sounds fantastic!

Weird but I would choose the Ortofon 2M Red over the 2M Blue, because it looks terrific and sounds almost the exact same.

Wasn't an acrylic platter available for both the RT84 and RT85 before with the RT84 having a Ortofon Red + acrylic platter? Change to the lineup I assume? Both of those models are currently unavailable by the looks of it as well on the website. Hopefully the RT 85 returns soon. Love the acrylic look (and sound). 👍

I picked up a RT85 and preamp about a month ago and love it. My only complaint is there is no power switch on the preamp.

After waiting for what seems an eternity for the RT85 that is not coming (although frustrating, we all understand supplier issues). I see I can now get a small compromise in the RT84 with a O-Blue but without the Acrylic platter. Not what I wanted but i can live with that so I decide to go buy it after this video that came out today and it shows unavailable! Why do you release a video showing the change when its not even available? C'mon guys! you are wearing the patience of people that REALLY want your product and have been waiting for months. But I would say patience is not eternal...
