DAIZZ'S TIPS-
Most lettuces start to bolt when the temperature gets too hot(above 30-35 C OR 85-95 F). Once the plant starts sending up its seed stalk, the leaves aren't worth eating; they become bitter and the plants will send up their flower stalks, and soon you'll have clusters of small flowers. Once the seeds have ripened,the flower heads will become fluffy and starting to look dry, it's time to harvest.

Can we pluck the lettuce leaf, and at last we can leave some to bloom, and we can harvest? Or from the beginning onwards, we need to leave the lettuce leaf, and allow them to bloom, and later we can keep the seed for next year germination?
