Barbell and hammer curls in the 3 to 5 rep range made my biceps

Once I started treating barbell curls like I treat my bench, my biceps exploded. Barbell curls are the main builder, preachers, incline curls, cable curls, etc are all just useful accessories.

Agree. Many basics have been abandoned. However, I think just as much of a factor is people don't focus on arms enough. If people hit arms with as much focus as they hit chest and back, I think, you'd see more natty sleeve busters.

Bicep focused chin-ups are also a great option, very similar movement pattern but with your own bodyweight

My biceps have exploded since pushing heavy barbell curls. Recommend pushing heavy curls first with strict form. Once plateauing, you gotta push the weight. Start cheating but control the entire eccentric. Soon you’ll be able to strict curl that weight too. Currently doing curls with strict form with 130 lb barbells and I’ve put an inch on my arms by focusing on heavy weight.

I start my arm day with 4 sets of barbell curls. I usually do a heavy first set, 2 medium sets, and then 1 lighter higher rep set. All to failure. works very well

Nothing gives me the same feeling as some good old barbell bicep curls. Preacher curls are nice too.

Easy bar curls and hammer curls are the best thing you can do for biceps. The only two exercises I do for biceps, occasionally I’ll do chin ups but only as an accessory. My main ones are always easy bar and hammers

They are the ultimate bicep isolation exercise for which you can add the most weight, so it was a simple choice for me to include them. Other than that, I do incline and spider curls.
