" My grandparents' house in the village has always been the most special and cozy place in my life. It was especially beautiful there in winter. I often came to stay with them for a couple of weeks during the winter holidays. It was one of the best times ever. Winter in the village was real, frosty and snowy; the blizzard in this region could last for more than one day. The village was located among snow-capped mountains, surrounded by dense pine forest. Not far from the village, 2 kilometers away, there was a large lake. The air around was incredibly clean and fresh. It was a lot of fun in the village in winter. Every day I went skiing on the snow slide with other neighborhood kids. We also played snowballs, made a snow woman, and went sledding. Sometimes my grandfather and I rode his snowmobile to the lake for winter fishing, or simply went into the forest for a walk and admire the beauty. At this time, my grandmother was preparing a delicious dinner for us, and for dessert she baked my favorite apple pie. In the evenings, we all enjoyed playing checkers, dominoes, and other board games together. When the time approached 10 o'clock in the evening, I went to my room and went to bed. The room was small, but very cozy. There was a soft bed with a duvet, a large window, next to it there was a fireplace that warmed the room well. When I crawled under the blanket, I loved to look out the window as snow flakes rushed past at great speed. The sounds of the blizzard, combined with the sounds of fire, created a feeling of warmth, comfort and safety. At that moment I felt very good and calm. Tired from the whole day, I instantly fell asleep. Later, the grandmother came into the room, turned off the fireplace, and left again, leaving the door slightly open. All three weeks of my stay here flew by like one day, and I had to go to the city again. I wanted to stay here longer, but at the same time, I missed my parents and wanted to see them as soon as possible. My grandparents accompanied me to the train, which was supposed to take me to the city in just a few hours. It was sad, but I wasn’t upset, because I knew that in a couple of months I would come to visit them again. "
