Schwimmwagen - The Car That Floats

During World War Two, Hitler tasked Ferdinand Porsche to create an amphibious car for use by German Forces. This would see the creation of the Schwimmwagen. In the prototype phase known as the Type 128 and eventually the Type 166, the Schwimmwagen would become extremely successful both on land and in the water. In this video we look at the Schwimmwagen and its uses during World War Two.
