Of course they have a leader. Birds observe (watch and study) humans probably more than humans watch birds. The way humans and birds think is so incredibly similar to each other, I have often wondered who learned from who? Oohh, wait, 😮 snap! 🫰🏼birds 🦅 came first. ❤️😊

I’ve seen this happen and I think it’s one of nature’s most beautiful things. Thanks Jo .

This is fascinating to me. I always wondered how they can do that without flying right into one another. Amazing.

Your videos are so good. Thanks! I've seen blackbirds and shorebirds do this, but once I saw a huge group of cedar waxwings do it. It was so pretty.

Us humans do have synchronized swimming, then again that's just 2 people in a pool not flying. Yeah we're pretty bad compared to those birds.

Not my reflexes! I have the reflexes of a cat! As far as you know. I just trip over and bump in to things to appear normal so as not to spook folks.
