No reservation, I am a NIT student and here casteism is because of the reservation because as a general we have to score 97 percentile and St has to get only 76 percentile for the same branch which is a big difference .lf you are an NIT/IIT student, you will understand.

IIT me hona lazmi bhi hai kyuki ek ladka din raat padhke 6000-7000 rank lane par bhi usse koi achhi IIT nhi milta aur wahi sc/st wale 15-20k rank pe bhi IITB/IITD chale jate hai

Reservation hona chahiye. Lekin jinke parivaar me kisi ko govt job mil jaaye to uske pure family ka resevertion khatam kar dena chahiye. Cast based har subidha band kar deni chahiye

If that iit Bombay student gets college based on his CRL then nobody would discriminate him because of his caste.
Nowadays people are not against a specific caste they are against caste reservation.

I belong from a small village in rajasthan and I want to say we have no discrimination here, the majority is OBC jaats buts there also are a good amount of people from general and SC category. So just be aware there are some exceptions and not all villages have discrimination.

Bhai tune reservation ko kaha se kaha ghuma diya...
Reservation was genuinely meant for upbringing of lower cast... Dont you see the even there are many general candidates whose father are suffering from financial crisis and then when they make it to merit list them reservation plays the the worst role... Reservation should only be meant for "economically" Lower section and not for any cast..

IIT student committed suicide because he was unable to cope with the curriculum. Reservation can bring someone to college, but can't give capability to clear it. .. A young life lost just for nothing ! very unfortunate .
