M22: Both full-time hiring and outsourcing will lead your project to failure, Zerocracy won't.

I was asked to explain what Zerocracy is doing exactly, but a potential client of ours. Here is what I managed to create, in just 15 minutes (I wanted to do five, but didn't manage). The bottom line is that full-time hiring and outsourcing are two great recipes for disaster, for a young startup. To the contrary, Zerocracy is a life saver.

Zerocracy is a great idea. But I didn't manage to understand how to get involved. I've seen the website, I've seen rules. But I didn't find a "button" lik "Start now". So it looks like a private club for developers where you don't know how to get invited. Or maybe I am just stupid. )

Zerocracy can be good platform but looks like problem is different. Technical startup needs technical co-founder. He should be co-founder to rely his future on this start-up. He will create technical design, milestones, specs, rough estimate, requirements to developers. Then Zerocracy can be chosen as way to make work done. Otherwise even Zerocracy will not help as people will solve tickets but no one will take really hard technical decisions to make solution much better.

If in the end of year there is no more money and nothing is done the main questions are to all founders: who initially estimated amount of work and why there were no several control points in the past year.
