I just got mine and absolutely love it! I did the gates belt upgrade. I can ride it through the neighborhood, stealth quiet. I'm too scared to cut the green wire right now. It's fast as all get out without it. I can't imagine what the torque is like with the green wire cut. (voice to text typos corrected 02-16-2022)

Hey just for your own knowledge so you can ride safe, you should absolutely be using you front brake. Now you should never abruptly grab either front or rear bc you’ll lose traction, but if you’re only braking with the rear, you essentially have no brakes. As you slow down, weight transfers to the front of the bike and therefore the wheel, so you actually get more grip the harder you brake. You will not endo over the bars when you have so much weight down low in the form of the battery. Even on a regular bicycle, you should be using the front brake for the same weight transfer reason. This is a huge misconception that they teach you about in motorcycle school, and it applies to any 2 wheeled vehicle. Although yes, a plain bike it is easier to endo over the bars, but that just means you need to learn to brake properly and not be scared to use the front brakes, because again the front brakes have all the stopping power esp in emergency situations where you need to stop on a dime

The stock Sur Ron X uses a 60 Volt 32AH battery pack not 48 volt. However, I believe the lower end Segway X160 uses a 48 volt battery.

Is it raceable? Can you perform pretty rad moves on it? Also is the what I like to call the “forward facing illuminating flare” aka headlight have an adjustment option?
