Have you lost your ever loving mind woman?! She said this as if the friend role were a better role for him to play in the little girls life rather being a father figure to her ... "Friends" aren't the ones that are suppose to be there help you right your wrongs or to reprimand her for poor choices .. that's the role of a parent or parental figure ..
I'm just completely lost as to why this mom wanted this random man to be a "friend" to her teenage daughter rather than a father figure?!?

Billie, you were sleeping with the enemy. He was the one that told you your daughter was having an overnight stay with a friend which no one else was aware of this. He identified where her body would be found and I believe the police aren’t giving you any details because they are wary of you as you may go to your ex boyfriend and forewarn him.
