I like your take, it's different, and yeah, I'd say The Amazing Spider-Man and Homecoming are top three for me, but after rewatching them, my list changes many times. But I'm glad you didn't follow the usual Spider-Man 2 is the best, and you gave the supposed crappier movies the spotlight.

Oh my GOD!!!! These takes are so hot that i am scared for the comments lol. I agree with most of them but my list is very different. Tobey introduced me to the character so maybe i am biased but here we go.

7)Far From Home
I hate this movie. I think the writers of this one hates Spider Man because i really felt like this was an insult to me. The whole movie was about Peter trying to live up to expectations set by the death of Tony Stark and we already went through him trying to live up to expactations set by Tony Stark while he was alive in Homecoming and i didn't liked that so seeing it continue even after that character died really made me angry. I still can't get over "Peter Tingle" and Nightmonkey stuff. I really hate this movie.

6)The Amazing Spider-Man 2
I like the death of Gwen. And i love the swinging scenes. But that's it. Electro's human version was horrible. I hate the fact that they just didn't used Norman but went for Harry. I like the actor but Harry's character was not good. And Peter being a popular guy in school is the worst thing ever. I mean i think that is a big problem with Andrew Garfield. He is a handsome guy so him being a loser like he was in Amazing 1 made no sense. But being the popular guy in school doesn't make sense for the character of Peter Parker. So that's why Andrew is my least favourite Peter but he is my favourite Spider Man because of his movements and swinging scenes etc.

5)The Amazing Spider-Man
I like this movie. I like Lizard, i like the darker tone. I like Emma Stone. But it feels just so, generic. There are some great scenes but there is nothing that makes me want to go back to this movie. I mean it's good but it doesn't have anything special. It's just, ok.

4)Homecoming
Vulture is one of the best villains we have seen in live action Spidey movies but i hate this Aunt May, Ned and i don't like Liz. I of course love that twist. I also loved MJ in this movie. I found her very unlikeable in FFH but i think her Homecoming version was really cool. But i don't like the Tony Stark thing. Already talked about it while FFH so won't go into detail. I think Tom Holland is the best Peter Parker but the worst Spider-Man.

3)Spider-Man
I LOVE Willem Dafoe in this movie. The dinner scene, OH MY GOD! The scene where he was in costume during the fire. It's a little cringey and funny but i LOVE that. It's an origin story but it felt better told than Amazing 1 in my opinion. I love the Uncle Ben and Aunt May in this movie. They love Peter you can feel that but they also don't know what they will do with him. I love Harry. Best live action friend for Peter Parker ever. And i love MJ. Kirsten Dunst did a great job.

2)Spider-Man 2
Alfred Molina's Doc Ock is the best live action Spider Man villain of all time. The train scene is the best live action Spider Man set piece of all time. And this is the best live action Spider Man movie of all time. This is not just a fantastic super hero movie, it's a fantastic movie. This movie is Oscar worthy(i don't know if it's worth anything in 2021 lol) in my opinion. It has so many great life lessons. Relationship between Aunt May and Peter, MJ and Peter and Harry and Peter is just fantastic. Peter's struggle of wanting to give up being Spider Man while also feeling sorry because of what Uncle Ben said him is AMAZING! I really love this movie. But...

1)Spider-Man 3
So i have a special connection with SM3. I don't think it's the best Spider-Man movie. I think that's 2. And probably 1 is better than 3 as well. Emo Peter is horrible, too many villains, it's not focused on any certain subplot, Venom and Eddie is weird. BUT! It's fun. I LOVE the dance scene, i LOVE the scene where Peter confronts Eddie, i LOVE the church scene, i LOVE the Harry and Peter fight in Harry's place and i LOVE the dance in the club with Gwen and MJ. There are so many iconic scenes that i go back and watch again and again. And as a very personal thing. As a child, i was very afraid of Black Suit Spider Man. I remember i couldn't stay in the same room with SM3's VCD. I was that afraid. So when i finally finished watching the movie i felt like i achieved something and i overcame my fears. That was a very important moment that probably defined my life. So yeah, i am very biased towards SM3 and i don't regret anything about it.

8. Spider-Man 2002. Yeah, this movie ain’t bad but it doesn’t age well in some areas

7. TASM2. The only reason this isn’t at the very bottom is because I have a sort of special bias for this movie. I know it’s not great in terms of its story, but, this movie means a lot to me because I saw it for my 14th birthday and it actually made me satisfied in some areas.

6. Spider-Man 3. Tbh this movie isn’t awful. It’s just not how it should’ve been handled.

5. Spider-Man Far From Home. I don’t hate this, but let’s be real. This movie had some unnecessary and awkward moments. The best part about it is Mysterio. And Peter making his own suit.

4. TASM. I love this movie. I should’ve ranked it higher but I don’t know if I can.

3. Homecoming. This movie is probably the best MCU Spidey has been.

2. Spider-Man 2. I mean was this ever really that hard?

1. Spiderverse. Beautiful film. Nuff said.

hth the Amazing Spiderman saga is that high in the list?! the only great thing about them is Andrew Garfield being Spiderman and Gwen stacy, but the story was incredible bad, the writers got all their bad guys out of Oscorp (0 creativity), and Harry and elecktro were terrible, the lizzard was just passable. The only writting risk they took was killing Gwen. I really believe that if they had had better writers, they could have made very great movies.
